With a Little Help…Gas Tank

With a Little Help from Your Friends

From time to time…we will pass on an untested tip that we hear about that might save you some $$. Here’s one to try (We don’t know for sure…but it might be worth pursuing…)

Crosley Gas Tank “Work-Around”

(Note: edited slightly for clarity)

On May 4, Greg L., on the Facebook page, Crosley Little Cars, commented, “My gas tank was beyond rotten the only Crosley tank I could find was $700 and out of stock. The one I found from Amazon is the same size and was $109.00. The next day I did have to move my hole in the floor an inch, and I bent some exhaust pipe to make a filler neck. But, I’m super happy with it. I’ll get a rubber boot to join the tank to the filler like the original. It’s a cheap “easyish” way to get these cars back on the road.”

Here, here, Greg! Thanks for helping others out with this Crosley gas tank option!
