Young People Turning to Old Cars?

Not Quite…

I recently ran across a video from a popular YouTuber site, Uncle Tony’s Garage. With experienced chops with hot rods, racing, specializing in MoPar, Uncle Tony rambles a bit but poignantly comments about a recent video produced by “Julia”, a representative “youth”. Her 11 minute commentary contends that her generation is rebelling against tech, unreachable, innocuous contemporary autos, tech privacy infringements, and other modern tech annoyances. Although she harkenss way back to the 90s as deisreble rides, it begs the question:

Is there a window for our classic cars - pre-90’s?

These videos posture that there may be hope.

The first clip is from Uncle Tony’s Garage, full length @12 minutes. I’d suggest skipping the first 4 minutes of Uncle Tony’s ramblings and start at 3:50. He makes reference to a video produced by “Julia. Her full-length video, cited below, underscores Uncle Tony’s hunch that young people may actually be turning away from current expensive, high tech derived automobiles and going more nostalgic, sort of, “back to the 90s. Take a look

This is “Julia’s” video in its entirety (12 minutes) - not solely focused on cars but the full video gives you a solid sense of her divergent car tech and other opinions.
